Laura Martin is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in talent acquisition, managed services, and procurement. Laura has a track record of driving transformative improvements that boost operational efficiency, enhance team engagement, and increase client satisfaction. She is committed to leading by example and continuously seeking innovative ways to add value for clients, candidates, and colleagues alike.

Before joining Arroyo Strategy, Laura managed an enterprise-wide Professional Services MSP within Global Procurement at IBM, where she received the Supplier Diversity Excellence Award from the National Minority Supplier Development Council.

Laura holds a degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, three daughters, and their beloved pets, and she enjoys weekend hiking trips and volunteering at local animal shelters.

Sophia Alvarez brings over 20 years of experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, and change management, with a background in consulting, consumer goods, and recruitment process outsourcing. She has extensive expertise in sourcing for challenging corporate, executive, and specialized roles, and has led multinational teams across the United States, Brazil, Canada, and the Philippines.

Sophia began her career with Deloitte in São Paulo as a senior consultant before moving to Unilever, where she led talent acquisition initiatives. After relocating to the United States, she joined Randstad as the manager overseeing talent acquisition and onboarding for North America.

Sophia holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, is fluent in English and Portuguese, and is certified in Behavioral Interviewing. She resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband and their three rescue dogs, and is passionate about wellness, animal rescue, and outdoor activities.
